Positive Vibes Will Be Flowing at Reggae Rise Up Florida

Reggae Rise Up Florida is close to selling out, but some tickets remain for this celebration of progressive reggae and positivity at St. Petersburg’s Vinoy Park March 16-18. The festival will include some of reggae’s heavy hitters such as Damien “Jr. Gong” Marley, Rebelution, Soja and Matisyahu.

The undercard is also packed with talent from the progressive reggae scene and beyond. Popular international acts like Ozomatli, whose blend of hip hop, Latin and reggae results in infectious danceable beats, and Jesse Royal, whose message of positivity and love is the voice of a new generation of progressive reggae, and many more will play across two stages.

The stacked lineup will also include California’s J Boog, who will be bringing his soulful mix of hip hop, R&B and reggae to St. Pete’s waterfront, along with Native American artist Nahko and The Medicine People, whose spirit-inspired music speaks to a global tribe.

Florida will be well represented by a host of artists including Jacksonville’s bards of fun and funky beats Cloud 9 Vibes, Southwest Florida’s popular reggae outfit SOFLOW, Orlando’s Kash’d Out and more.
