The Mike Dillon Band Will Crisscross the Country on Summer Tour
The Vibraphone Destroyer and crew are on the road again. The Mike Dillon Band is already three shows into their 27-date tour that hits 18 states, beginning in the Pacific Northwest, heading to the Midwest, Northeast, NOLA, and back to the Northwest. The tour resumes Tuesday, July 10th, at the Pink Garter Theater in Jackson Hole WY, and it winds up August 25th in Hayfork OR at Northwest Delights (and a show TBA on August 26th).
Dillon’s brilliance covers jazz, funk, rock, fusion, and punk, and that’s just for starts. His mastery of traps and all manner of percussion is legendary, from his beginnings with Billy Goat, Malachy Papers, and Hairy Apes BMX to Critters Buggin’, The Dead Kenny Gs and Garage A Trois, and that doesn’t begin to cover The Mike Dillon Band in its various forms.
He is a rock star at festivals coast to coast and on Jam Cruise.
