Time for Some Sonic Stew at Crowbar with Sides of The Reality and Blassafrass

Bungalow Entertainment is excited to bring you a night of music at Crowbar in Ybor City with Sonic Stew, The Reality, and Blassafrass on Saturday, August 4th. Bungalow is the new kid on the block, happy to join forces with other area promoters bringing you the best music possible across numerous genres.

Sonic Stew is the brainchild of Dennis Stadelman, longtime guitarist and lead singer for CopE. He is joined by CopE bandmate Brad Elliott, a powerful drummer, along with great bass player Sean Hartley, and Justin Davis, who triples on guitar, mandolin, and banjo. MC Nook plays ukulele and raps. This great collective spans a wide variety of genres including rock, Americana, hip hop, blues, soul, and funk.

The Reality are a madcap Tampa quartet whose shows never fail to pack the dance floor. Their frantic, manic performances are a sheer delight, with Dan Jones on guitar and trombone, Caleb Bone on bass, Brian BA Jones on drums, and Josh Kim on all manner of keyboards. They all sing, too, with their mix of great originals and delightful covers an amalgam of rock, funk, blues, reggae, and R&B madness. They recently released their third album of original music, Politically Uncorrect.

Andrew M. Blass, a.k.a “Blassafrass,” is a Tampa native “bass maker,” vinyl turntableist, selector, and post-processor producer [collector + practice (dedication * sacrifice) = selector]. Blass is one half of the local vinyl duo the Savage Scratch Kids and is an outspoken proponent of open minds, free love, and the low-end. Known associates include Anthony Culbertson (“Cul_Cuts”), Sean Dobbins (“Conscious Sound System”), and “Billy Chaff (“Trajik Majik”).

Blassafrass will be spinning out in the beer garden before and between sets by The Reality and Sonic Stew.

Your mind and soul are hungry. Better feed them. MusicFestNews will see you at Crowbar!
