Combination of the Two: Guavatron and The Reality to Rock Orlando, Sarasota, Dunedin
OK, for those who already know, here is the Reader’s Digest version:
Guavatron and The Reality together in Orlando, Sarasota, and Dunedin this week. ‘Nuff said.
Now, for everyone else:
Two of the best bands anywhere — not just Florida — are pairing up again for three nights of madness. Guavatron play magnificent jamtronic funk with plenty of rock, and The Reality present manic frenzied funky rock in various forms. Those are still short descriptions, though.
At first blush, you might wonder how these two fit so well together. I confess I’m a little confused about that myself. I can only assure you that they do! Perhaps some video evidence would be beneficial:
Guavatron, from West Palm Beach, are: Roddy Hansen– keyboards/synths; Conor Crookham– bass guitar; Adonis Frangiskakis– guitar/vocals; and Casey Luden– drums.
The Reality, from Tampa, are: Dan Jones, guitars, trombone & vocals; Caleb Bone, bass & vocals; Brian Jones, drums & vocals; and Josh Kim, keyboards & vocals.
