In the Middle of Nowhere – and Everywhere! – with BIG Something
You couldn’t fault the boys from BIG Something if they just wanted to take it easy this fall. They’ve played more than five dozen dates this year, including music festivals in ten different states. Wanee, Summer Camp, Electric Forest, The Ride, Peach, LOCKN’, Waterloo and their very own BIG What? are on that list.
But NOOOO! They’ve got another 20 dates lined up, showcasing the band’s wide-ranging talents across genres — with funk, rock and jam at the core. The tour commences Friday (October 12th) in Charlotte at Visulite Theatre, headlining Mustang Rock & Roast the next day.
Two shows in Michigan precede the sextet’s three nights of Widespread Panic after-parties at Mo’s Irish Pub in Milwaukee. Greensboro hosts their two-night Costume Ball. They’ll play beer festivals in Virginia and Colorado before they head to Charleston to share billing with compatriots Dangermuffin for the Chucktown Turkey Bowl at the Pour House.
There are two shows in Asheville with Funk You and The Broadcast and a three-night run in the Northeast. New Year’s run information should surface soon. And BIG Something will join The New Mastersounds at moe.’s throe.down in Jamaica in January.
