G. Love & Special Sauce Roll into Winter with “The Sauce Tour: A Celebration of 25 Years”
Winter has already come to much of the country, but G. Love & Special Sauce will be warming things up in 2019 when this merry band of funkified bluesmen bring “The Sauce Tour: A Celebration of 25 Years” to a good portion of the country. A continuation of the band’s coast-to-coast celebration, the winter tour kicks off on January 10th in Milwaukee and meanders its way through the Midwest, East Coast and down South, ending on February 17th in Dallas.
Pioneers of hip hop blues, G. Love & Special Sauce are Garrett Dutton (a.k.a. G. Love) on vocals, guitar and harmonica, Jim Prescott (a.k.a. Jimi Jazz) on bass, and Jeffrey Clemens (a.k.a. Houseman) on drums. The trio has been gathering a faithful tribe of acolytes for more than 20 years with their joyously off-kilter performances and love of all things funky.
As a “thank you” to their fans, the band will be hosting a “Pre-Show Pop Off” throughout the tour. The package includes general admission with early entry, a pre-show solo performance and Q&A with G.
