Roosevelt Collier: MORE with His Trio, with Unlimited Devotion, and with Bokanté
Roosevelt Collier is a very, very busy man. In addition to playing on stage with his two-year-old son, Ezra, he has shows coming up with his trio and seven special shows with Unlimited Devotion playing the music of the Grateful Dead. In January, he’ll be back on board the Norwegian Jade for Jam Cruise 17 as an artist at large, and immediately after that he will head to Europe for ten shows with Bokanté, the outstanding world music band curated by Michael League. Shows begin Thursday, November 15th, at the Seminole Casino in Coconut Creek, followed by a show pairing with funk juggernaut Holey Miss Moley Friday at Skipper’s in Tampa. Saturday he and the band do their Jimi Does Funk set at the Wine & Food Truck Festival in Jacksonville Beach, and they return to the Tampa area for Sandy Ovations Sunday at Treasure Island.
We will have extensive coverage of the collaboration with Unlimited Devotion soon. Those shows kick off Wednesday, November 21st, at The Abbey in Orlando.
In December, the band shoots out to California for three nights, and Collier and band will play Thankful Ball in Nashville.
