Everyone Orchestra at Gypsy Sally’s, Ardmore Music Hall

Matt Butler, just itching to get band on board Jam Cruise, has two shows coming up this weekend and another two after Jam Cruise lands back in Miami, those two in Colorado.

For the Friday show at Gypsy Sally’s in Washington, D.C., and Saturday at the Ardmore Music Hall, the core of the band, conducted by Butler, will include Al Schnier (moe.), guitar, vocals; Vinnie Amico (moe.), drums; Glenn McClelland (Ween), keyboards; and James Casey (TAB), tenor saxophone.

At Gypsy Sally’s, the band will be augmented by Larry Keel, guitar, vocals; Todd Herrington (Cris Jacobs Band), bass; and Jay Starling (Love Canon). Opening the show will be Of Tomorrow, a great multi-genre band from DC.

The Ardmore show will also include Roosevelt Collier, lap steel guitar, pedal steel guitar; Will Schade (Darla), tenor saxophone; Sonni Shine (Underwater Sounds), guitar, vocals; Nik Greeley, vocals; and Gerald Veasley, bass. Two Philadelphia-area bands, Darla and Underwater Sounds, will open. And this will be a Blockley 5-Year Reunion: Celebrating 12/29/13, “A Funky Farewell.”
