Boston Calling 2019 Lineup Announced!

Boston Calling is returning for its 10th edition to the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston, Massachusetts. Their lineup was officially released and boasts a plethora of insanely talented musicians. Boston Calling offers up far more than just amazing music, with over 50 bands, three outdoor stages, a massive indoor arena, some of the best food in Boston, a ten-story high Ferris wheel, beautiful art installations, life-size games, and cool interactive sponsorship booths with giveaways. There is a ton of stuff to explore and see at Boston Calling. If somehow none of that tickles your fancy, I’m sure the lineup will.

Heavily focused on alternative rock and rap, the lineup is strong from top to bottom. Some of the biggest names in music are headlining, including Twenty One Pilots, Travis Scott, and Tame Impala. The undercard, as usual, is stacked. With some of my personal favorite bands Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Clario, King Princess, Big Red Machine and Gang of Youths all making an appearance in 2019.

Boston Calling 2019

Vibes at Boston Calling have always been strong, especially when you take into consideration it’s a city festival. City fests have a reputation for having an overwhelming amount of loud, obnoxious and drunk teenagers. While there may be some at Boston Calling, it has never been as overwhelming when compared to some other fests. People at this music festival are often extremely kind, friendly and welcoming. There are minimal issues in the crowd, and it’s just an overall awesome time.

Tickets for Boston Calling are on sale now. For the next 24 hours, they have exclusive pricing to celebrate the drop of their 2019 lineup. After today, prices go up slightly but are still a great value. GA, VIP and platinum packages are available, prices start at $249 for three-day GA pass. This music fest will take place from May 24th-26th.
