Governors Ball 2019 Lineup – Florence + Machine, Lil Wayne, and Many More!
The Governors Ball officially released their 2019 lineup. After infinite speculation and rumors, we finally have an answer to our hopes and dreams. Held every year at Randall’s Island Park in New York, it has become one of the most popular regional festivals in the country. Calling Governors Ball a regional music fest is kind of unfair. It’s held in the largest and most populated city in the country. On top of that, thousands of people will travel from out of the tri-state area to make their way to Governors Ball.
Governors Ball’s lineup is absolutely solid. From top to bottom there are some insanely talented artists that will be playing this music festival. Headliners include Florence + The Machine, The Strokes, Tyler The Creator, Lil Wayne, Nas, and Major Lazer all of whom are guaranteed to put on amazing shows. If the top few names don’t have you sold on getting a ticket, just check out that undercard! Bob Moses, Miles Kane, Dreamers, Clario, Soccer Mommy, and 070SHAKE are all notable bands that will be playing at Governors Ball this year. This is in the running for the best music festival lineup of 2019.
This year’s lineup is a bit more hip hop- and rap-heavy when compared to previous years, but overall it is still very solid. Even though music stops before midnight, there is plenty to do after the gates close. We cannot wait to party with everyone there. Governors Ball will take place from May 31st to June 2nd, but tickets are on sale now.
