Get Your Punk Rock Fix at Camp Anarchy
As the country’s only punk rock campground, Camp Anarchy will take place at Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio, May 31st – June 2. Camp Anarchy is headlined by The Offspring, Rancid, and NOFX, who will each play an unopposed set at the end of each day. The punk rock goes deep throughout the lineup, featuring some of the greatest musicians to ever play the genre. At Camp Anarchy you can see Pennywise, Bad Religion, The Damned, Fear, Less Than Jake, TSOL, and Sick of it All, with more artists to be announced soon. There’s more to Camp Anarchy than just hours of amazing punk rock.
Camp Anarchy Details
On top of a weekend filled with crowd surfing, heavy distortion, and I–V–vi–IV progressions, there will be craft beer tasting, dodgeball games, s’mores, carnival games, beer pong, giant Jenga, and a ton of art. All of this will take place on some of the best music festival grounds that you can find in Ohio. Legend Valley is the same place where Lost Lands takes place in September. This massive, tree-filled oasis allows festivalgoers to completely disconnect from the outside world and create their own paradise, surrounded by friends and awesome music.
I’d like to make a side note about the dodgeball happening at Camp Anarchy. Not only can you play against other fans, but you can play against bands who are playing at the festival. So even if you don’t want to play, I’m sure this will be a super unique and cool experience to watch.
Ticket Information
Tickets are currently on sale for this fest and start at $119 for a three-day GA pass and $279 for a three-day VIP pass. Camping can be purchased separately for $40, or you can drive in daily. They are also offering single-day passes for $40. Check out the full lineup for Camp Anarchy below!
