A Music Fest with a Cause – Park City Songwriter Festival

Park City Songwriter Festival is happening for the first time ever this September 13-14 in Park City, Utah. The music will be taking place across five intimate venues that run along this town’s historic main street. There will be over two dozen musicians performing at Park City Songwriter Fest, including headliners Marc Broussard, Anders Osborne, and the North Mississippi Allstars. There’s a lot happening at this music festival beyond amazing live performances and concerts each night; there will also be songwriters in the round, panels, and workshops as part of the experience.

Music with a Purpose

This music fest, which was dreamed up by Park City residents and festival co-founders Ben Anderson, Scott Thomson, and Aaron Benward, is raising money to benefit Send Me A Friend and MusiCares. Diving deeper than just the songs, Park City Songwriter Festival was also founded to focus on mental health and addiction recovery challenges that persist in the music industry today. Partnering with the Grammy’s MusiCares organization and headlining artist Anders Osborne’s Send Me A Friend Foundation, Park City Songwriter Festival cares as much about the health of the songwriters as they do the songs themselves.
