Save the Date – April 16-18 – Suwannee Rising
Last year, we suggested, hinted, went on record as saying that you might want to save the first weekend in April. You know, just in case. And our friend Paul Levine and his crew came through — big time — with the inaugural Suwannee Rising Music Festival at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida, helping to fill the gaps left by Wanee Music Festival, Bear Creek Music & Arts Festival, and AURA Music & Arts Festival.
Suwannee Rising will return next year April 16-18. There’s no telling what Levine has up his sleeves this time. Last year, on short notice, the festival rocked out to regular park denizens Lettuce, Dumpstaphunk, Oteil and Friends, The New Mastersounds, and moe. plus a cadre of great music from The Melody Trucks Band, Voodoo Visionary, Ghost-Note, The Fritz, and much more.
