The Ain’t Sisters About to Fire It Up!

Now hold on here! Are they sisters OR NOT?

Well, we ain’t say they are, but we also ain’t say they ain’t.

Yes AND no are both good answers here, depending on your definition of sisters. All you REALLY need to know is just how powerful this band is, led by The Ain’t Sisters — Arrie Bozeman and Barb Carbon — and their trusty rhythm section — Justin Boudreau and Richie Jones. They have been garnering rave reviews every time they step on stage, darlings at roots festivals and jam festivals as well.

At a November show in Tampa, we wrote (in part):

This quartet can be subtle, then turn right around and kick major ass. Arrie’s electric guitar work absolutely rules! And it never hurts to have longtime Atlanta drum legend Richie Jones on kit. They motored into the set with a glorious display of rock and roll in myriad varieties, from calm indie pop to thrash punk (leaning a bit more that way). Arrie and Carbon bounce the vocals back and forth, often in harmony, and here and there Jones inserts himself into the conversation. And speaking of badass, bass destroyer Boudreau blew up the entire set.
