Remembering Gamble Rogers: Gamble Rogers Folk Festival lineup announced

The annual celebration of the life of Gamble Rogers, Florida’s best known troubadour, returns to the St. Johns County Fairgrounds April 12-14. Some exciting headliners will be there this year; one of the best young bluegrass bands around, AJ Lee and Blue Summit will be coming from California, along with the John Jorgenson Quintet. Blue Summit features Sully Tuttle, Grammy-winning Molly Tuttle’s younger brother, and an amazing group of musicians in support of AJ’s spectacular vocals (she has won several IBMA awards as a vocalist). Jorgenson is a veteran, having toured with Elton John and spent many years with Chris Hillman in the Desert Rose Band. Joining them will be another troubadour Verlon Thompson, LA blues/jazz player Jerron “Blind Boy” Paxton, and many others.
