TAUK, lespecial cross streams for six huge shows

Two jamtronic prog rock powerhouses — TAUK and lespecial — will join forces for three pairs of weekend shows in November. They will invade Florida first for a show November 6 in Ybor City (Zodiac Live) and the following night in Miami (Midline Miami). The next weekend finds them at The Charleston Pour House, and the third pair of shows are in Asheville at Eulogy at Burial Beer Co.

[P.S. There is a special afterparty November 6 at the same location with Brain Emoji, the brainchild of Mike Bryant. Bryant is hosting an incredible event November 7 at Dunedin Brewery, presented by Unusual Noise, called Music from the Edge of Florida, featuring more than a dozen like-minded bands and musicians playing unusual, improvisational, and mind-warping sounds, highlighted by the appearances of Skerik and Mike Dillon.]

TAUK are: Matt Jalbert, guitar; Charlie Dolan, bass; A.C. Carter, keyboards, organ; and Isaac Teel, drums. The band had been a going concern since seventh grade, but they truly burst onto the scene in 2014. Since then, they have recorded nine studio albums and four live ones, appearing across America at countless shows and major festivals. Their devotion to deep grooves have kept fans mesmerized for more than a decade.

lespecial are: Luke Bemand, bass, synth, percussion, vocals; Jonathan Grusauskas, guitar, synth, sampler, percussion, vocals; and Rory Dolan, drums, sampler, percussion, vocals. They have been providing jaw-dropping shows for two decades in addition to seven mind-bending albums. They tour relentlessly, we’re glad to say.

This will be a titanic pairing of musical forces you won’t want to miss. You know the drill.
