The Fritz is a five piece rock band that likes to get funky. This band takes it’s songwriting very seriously, but takes it’s improvisation just as seriously: carefully weaving into each composition the personality of the band and the crowd. While their music may range from hard driving soul to progressive rock, there is always a common thread of passionate energy. Whether live or in the studio, The Fritz continues to create an energetic dance party every time.

In March of 2013, The Fritz released their second studio effort “Bootstrap”. The album is a collection of songs the band wrote over the past 4 years while traveling the Southeast, steadily building a reputation as a live act not to be missed. As they enter 2014, the band begins pre-production for their next studio album to be recorded in their hometown of Asheville, NC. If fans can’t wait for the next studio release they can have their pick of several recent live shows available for free download on their website.

McLovins specialize in the creation of dynamic and improvised sound, influenced by the members’ disparate and eclectic musical influences. The band currently includes Jason Ott, Jake Huffman, Justin Berger and Atticus Kelly.

These College students from Connecticut, embrace simultaneous and intricate improvisation with a more versatile front line in which all members are singing in four-part harmony, writing lyrics & music, as well as expounding on one another’s musical ideas. Set list segues and fiery improvisations are a staple of the band’s performances, keeping their audience always guessing what’s coming next and wanting more!

In the short time McLovins have been performing together, they have been invited to appear at an impressive number of well-established, as well as many new music festivals, and some of the most well respected venues in the North East. These guys are constantly writing & playing music, to continue to build on their own foundation, towards a long career of Original Rock Music to their growing fan base, of all ages.
