Details and Ticket Information For the Fierce, Funky Sweetwater 420 Fest Afterparties

Just when you thought Sweetwater 420 Festival couldn’t get any better, they released the late-night lineup: Five nights of melty, gooey, funky beats that will turn your legs into spaghetti from dancing so hard. The fest teamed up with local favorite bars Variety Playhouse, Aisle 5 Little Five Points, and Terminal West to bring you some of the best acts and collaborations in jam:

Atlanta SuperJam 420 Fest Official Pre-Party

For a mere $7 in advance or $10 at the door, you can start the party early on Wednesday, April 18 at Aisle 5. The Atlanta SuperJam promises to be one for the record books and teases several acts from 420 Fest, joining over two dozen local artists for an unbelievable night of music. The show starts at 8:00pm. Talk about bang for your buck…

String Cheese Incident Pre-Party

No amount of Cheese is ever enough Cheese, so Variety Playhouse is hosting an additional night of String Cheese Incident on Thursday, April 19. The show is sold out, but a few tickets are still floating around the internet if you look hard enough. Get your spy goggles on and snag a ticket for an unforgettable bonus set at 8:00 pm.

The Friday Parties

Friday night doesn’t stop when the venue gates close. Attendees have the option of hitting Aisle 5 to boogie with regional favorites Voodoo Visionary, Groove Orient, and PK.Kid, shimmy over to Terminal West for an upbeat dance party featuring Southern Avenue and Brandon “Taz” Niederauer, or break it down at Variety Playhouse with the always incredible Spafford. The only bad thing about Friday night is having to choose between these hip-shaking sets.

The Saturday Parties

For those who want to dance the night away, Aisle 5 is bringing you The Nth Power with special guests The 4 Korners for a night of pure, unadulterated funk. If you are feeling a little more low-key, check out Brendan Bayliss and Jake Cinninger at Terminal West for an intoxicating acoustic set that will have you floating on Cloud 9. You can’t go wrong with either of these performances, so go where your mood takes you.

The Grand Finale: 420 Fest Afterparies

Tired yet? You’d better not be, because Variety Playhouse is bringing the crowd to its knees with a monster collaboration between TAUK and Umphrey’s McGee to close out the weekend in rare form. If you have never seen these two acts share a stage, you are in for a treat of epic proportions. TAUKing McGee is powerful, emotional, high-energy, and smooth like butter. Save some energy for this one; you’ll thank me later.

Wallet feeling light after days of partying? Aisle 5 has you covered with a FREE show by Bird Dog Jubilee, one of Atlanta’s beloved blues/psychedelic rock ensembles. If you haven’t heard them yet, they are sure to be one of the weekend’s best takeaways.
